Months of travelling the unclaimed rogue lands had taught Yrene more than she could have hoped to learn within a pack, but now she found herself standing upon the Ferus borders with curiosity tickling her senses. It was strange to have that mingling scent drift past her nose, the unique markers of so many different wolves combining together to create a wall that claimed the land within. Yrene traced this marked area, wading through the sea of green grass and circling the oddly shaped trees that dotted the landscape. She hadn't been here for long, and had only stumbled upon these borders accidentally, but the wolves that lay in it's heart intrigued her. Would they give her the opportunity to grow in the way that her original home had denied her? She could only hope that fate had brought her here for a reason, and that a strong and orderly pack would greet her and welcome her into their numbers. Yrene halted her pacing, finally tipping her head back and allowing a high-pitched howl to ring through the crisp air. The she-wolf was still young, but she had been taught the formalities and the behaviour expected from a wolf hoping to join a pack. Moonstone eyes gleamed as she began to scan the area, wondering if her howl would attract anyone other than a pack wolf, a part of her hoping that she wouldn't be left alone for too long as she sat and waited for someone to approach her. A cold breeze drifted past as she waited, and her peachy brow furrowed in anticipation. She had been alone for the past four months of her life, and now the feeling had suddenly grown awkward. Hope bloomed in her chest as she expected all of that to change in the coming days.

Cream colored fur pushed through the terrain, neon green, pupiless eyes pointed to the sky as she watched a crow, she barreled through the terrain in order to keep up. Her body was losing weight, the carrion birds had been failing her for the past month and the small game she killed wasn’t enough to keep her from losing the necessary fat on her body, it had gotten so bad that her hip bones had begun to show through her skin and her musculature was more highlighted than usual. The red stripe down her back shined a brilliant red as she ran through the lush green grass, dodging the occasional tree, where was this bird headed, she had been following it for miles and here she was in the middle of nowhere still starving. Was her luck finally up? Had she finally chased down her last free meal, was she going to starve? The thoughts flashed through her mind like wildfire, how painful it would be to die of starvation, how horribly fitting for a wolf who hated needing others for help, would die because she needed help to bring down bigger game. Ketaki, a rogue for life, she knew very well she need a new pack, a new family, but before she could think about that a meal needed to be found, a meal that could at least make her a little less ravenous and more presentable to a pack. A few more minutes of running and then she saw it, the circling in the wonderfully blue sky, a flock of carrion birds, each descending in their own time, towards a rather large mostly devoured elk carcass. Ketaki took her, what most would describe as blatantly disgusting, eyes off of the bird she had been following and kicked her pace up a notch, legs pumping as she pushed through the mud and melting snow, ignoring what sloshed up onto her pelt, bringing mud with it. The creamy she-wolf slowed down as she neared the old kill, the scent of bear was still strong, “They must be finally coming out of hibernation then.” The rogue female had picked up the habit of talking to herself, however she finally got back onto the overwhelmingly strong scent of bear, but as strong as it was her hunger was stronger, her eyes searched thoroughly, but by the amount of carrion birds and what little was still left made her fairly sure the large beast was not still around. Ketaki trotted up, growling and slashing at the birds, one large vulture batted its wings at her, throwing up its talons trying to scare her off, but Ketaki slipped by, her mouth tearing viciously into its wing removing feathers by the mouthful, swinging her head as she tasted the blood begin to spill, and then she let go, watching as the bird struggled away. Her bloodied muzzle was drawn up in a snarl as she slashed the rest of the way to the elk carcass, taking a kill by herself from a huge horde of carrion birds was never an easy task, but she did what she had to do to survive. As the she-wolf reached the kill, immediately she dove in, pulling every bit of meat out that she could, not missing the few entrails that were also left, her claws and teeth working to get at every last bit until her stomach bulged, and her face was covered in flecks of dried blood. The fatty meat slipped effortlessly down her throat and the starving female savored every bite, refusing to give the kill up to the carrion birds, not even after she was gorged, electing rather to drape her body across the exposed femurs warning off any bird that dared to get too close. She began to doze off, dreams filled with the thought of finally finding a new pack, salmon pink tongue working to clean her muzzle in her hazy, light sleep, her gorged stomach rested peacefully on the ground finally satisfied after a month of being hungry day after day. The breeze blew towards her, whipping the growing grass and as she began to fall deeper into her food induced haze the light scent of the Ferus wolves danced across her nose. Of course she didn’t know the name of the pack, she had never traveled this far east before, never dared to stray over the mountains until it became too difficult to find enough food. She had been unaware of the pack not even that far away from her, following the carrion birds as she normally did all the way around the borders of the wolves. However, she did know they were indeed a pack, and that was exactly what she had been searching for. The creamy female forced her eyes open, finding it difficult to manage, but somehow succeeding, she shook out her fur, trying to awaken herself even more, she looked down at the last few measly morsels of food before tearing them from the bone and hurrying off to trail the scent she had just managed to catch. As the female traveled, the sound of a loud high-pitched howl sounded, Ketaki halted while she listened to the call, a wolf looking for the same thing she was, a pack. Ketaki picked up the pace again, pelting across the land, dodging the occasional tree and then as if out of nowhere the other wolf appeared, the brown and pearl tinted fur just barely distinguishable from the tree trunks of the nearby flora. Ketaki slowly approached the youngster her own tail hanging, not tucked between her legs and neither was it raised high above her back, the she-wolf’s ears were pricked forward in curiosity. For the first time in her life Ketaki was trying to stand on neutral ground, not asking to be seen as a leader or a threat, and the she-wolf could only hope that would grant her entrance into the pack, for this was her last hope of survival. Slowly Ketaki approached, acting almost bored of the situation before coming to stand complacently before the other, younger female, “Hello, I heard your howl, figured we had the same goal in mind.”

The trek to the Ferus borders took nearly a week, as Shale had originally thought, but the time went by quickly. The climate of the Ferus lands seemed somewhat drier than the valley he and Achak had come from, and game was scarce. If either one of them had been on their own, they would have had a rough time of it, but with two hunting instead of one they were able to keep themselves comfortably fed, at least. Water was trickier, but not impossible to find, and, with only a few minor hardships along the way, Shale and Achak soon found themselves at the Ferus borders. Thank goodness, this border they’d ended up at was cooler and greener than much of the Ferus territory, with trees for shade and even some cool grass to provide some welcome relief for travel-weary paws. And it seemed they weren’t the first ones here. As they’d come into the borders, they’d heard one or two lone howls, and now they were finally close enough to see the source of them- two light-colored females who seemed to be exchanging pleasantries with each other, one mostly normal-looking and the other not so much. Shale shuddered involuntarily, seeing the female’s eyes; they were a bright, unnatural green with no pupils to speak of. Without realizing he was doing it, Shale moved a little closer to Achak. That’s got to be the single most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen.He was even more grateful for Achak’s company now. The scents of the pack deep within these territories, combined with the two other rogues who waited for acceptance and the sheer unknown of what the future held, was wreaking havoc on his nerves, setting him on edge, glancing nervously around him with wide eyes and staying crouched to the ground with his tail beneath his legs. If it hadn’t been for Achak, he would have turned and run, but he made his best effort to pull himself together as the two of them edged closer to the other rogues. “We’d best howl to the alphas first,” he whispered to Achak, still too utterly terrified to raise his voice any louder. “And then introduce ourselves to these other two.” It’d been a long while since he’d howled. There wasn’t much need to, as a rogue; revealing your location to any potential dangers within earshot wasn’t the smartest move. Even Shale, with his relatively naive outlook on life, knew that much. But he drew in a deep breath and gave it his best, throwing his head back as he announced his presence to whatever pack superiors might be listening. His voice wasn’t as strong as he would have liked, coming out more than a little shaky, but it would get the job done. He waited for Achak to do the same. After that they could introduce themselves to the two female rogues, and then wait for whatever member of Ferus chose to make their appearance first. At the thought of that, of meeting the alphas and having to impress them if he hoped to win a place in the pack, Shale felt his panic begin to rise again. But he forced it down, steeling himself. I can’t think about that now. I just have to take it one step at a time.@achak Yrene @ketaki

Achak realized how much he hated walking, after years he'd finally come to terms with it, his paws ached and longed to rest even when Shale and Achak slept it didn't help his aching paws. The journey to Ferus did not wear too heavily on him however, he was happy even though he was walking for a week straight he had company. For once Achak wasn't alone. Shale and him grew closer through out their journey and Achak actually had a good time despite the pain. As they reached the border Achak observed the area around them carefully, if this was the place they were to live he'd begin learning as soon as possible, gather as much knowledge as he could. As they reached another new area he realized how truly different it was from the valley he met Shale in. The howl attracted his attention toward two female rogues, he stared curiously. Were they here to join as well? He noticed Shale step closer to him, he tilted his head glancing toward the female their eyes meeting. Achak tensed he was unsure if something was wrong with the female wolf, but he relaxed slightly. They don't seem aggressive... He relaxed slowly, glancing to Shale softly, he understood why he was nervous. Achak puffed his chest up slightly, bringing his head up quickly. "We'd best howl to the alpha first," Shale said in a hushed voice, he nodded slowly. "And then introduce ourselves to these other two." Achak nodded once again murmuring a soft "Yeah you're right" in agreement, Achak readied himself allowing Shale to howl first, then howling after him, to Achak's surprise his howl was strong and bellowed from within his chest. His tail twitched softly as they stepped forward toward the other rogues, he spoke first noticing Shale get nervous once again. "Hello, I'm Achak and this is Shale. Are you two trying to join Ferus as well?" He asked calmly sitting in front of the two, shielding Shale from them as best he could. "Its nice to meet you by the way."

This wasn't happening as fast as she had hoped it would. Yrene wasn't usually an inpatient wolf, but anticipation gnawed at her as boredom began to set in, her opalescent eyes unblinking as she stared at one spot, zoning out as she watched the gentle sway of the grass at her paws. Where were the Alphas? Were they punctual creatures, or did they prefer to take their time and do things on their own terms? Maybe they weren't interested in amusing a hopeful, young she-wolf full to the brim with potential, or perhaps they were still waking up despite the time that passed between the sun tipping over the horizon and now as it began to climb higher in the sky. Yrene finally shifted her gaze to the sky as she noticed the harsh bite of the sun. It definitely wasn't as bad as it probably was during the summer, and the cool breeze that swept through the area was enough to keep her from sweating, but she knew that prolonged exposure couldn't be good. It was nothing that she would complain about, though. If these wolves were willing to except her, she would be willing to put up with whatever it took to for her to be the best that she could be. Her ambitions stretched far, and the bar she had set for herself was high, but the amount of determination that drove her forward every day was enough to carry her far enough to reach them—or so she hoped. Yrene almost flinched as another voice broke through all of these thoughts, her gaze instantly settling on the pearly she-wolf who had approached. She knew it was rude to stare, but the young girl couldn't help but linger on the eyes that seemed to glow through the stranger's bright fur. Yrene blinked, decidedly a little bit freaked out by the lack of a pupil in this female's eyes, but she simply furrowed her dusted brow, trying not to stare any longer in the fear that she was instantly be portrayed as rude. She nodded her head at the rogue's question, more than disappointed that she wasn't one of the pack superiors coming to greet her, but more than glad that she finally had some sort of company, despite the slight bored smugness painted on the stranger's face. "I just want a place where I can plant my roots and grow," she spoke with words true to her goal. Yrene was a young wolf looking for a place to learn and find herself, and maybe find a new family through it all. A pair of howls managed to steal her attention, moonstone gaze shifting once again and revealing the milky purple undertones of parts of her iris as the sun caught the orbs just right. Yrene found herself looking at a pair of males, one being around her age while the other seemed to be a couple of years older, perhaps closer in age to the female that stood across from her. The she-wolf's ears twitched as they approached, already unsure of the younger male's abilities solely based on the weak delivery of his howl. She blinked slowly as they stopped in front of the two she-wolves, intrigued yet not expecting anything great from either of them...Achak and Shale. "Its nice to meet you by the way." Yrene couldn't stop the small smirk that crept into the corner of her lip, slightly amused by the niceties and politeness, but she nodded once more, giving a wordless answer to their question, and taking note of the fact that this pack seemed to be called Ferus. A handy bit of information for a rogue to possess. "Do you know much about this pack, then?" Yrene questioned, tilting her head slightly, curious to know as much as she could about the pack that she had decided to join on a whim. This was one of the more impulsive things she had ever done in her life...

As Mira ventured further into the desert, she heaved a sigh of relief upon finding an opening in the pointed, rocky structures. What lay before there, was the mighty pack her family used to praise about - Ferus. With excitement and nervousness pumping through her veins, she approached the borders, only to hear two howls echoing off the walls of the mountains. Upon cautiously approaching where the calls resounded from, two silhouettes in the distance came into view. With her muscles tensed up on guard, Mira neared the duo to discover two brutes, one covered in charcoal black and the other in cream. It didn't seem that she was the only rogue wishing to join the pack. Watching them for awhile, the ebony female finally decided that the two weren't a threat. After all, they both seemed like friendly wolves. She let herself relax, and tugged her tail as she drew closer, only to see two other she-wolves came forth to introduce themselves. Mira now learnt that the two males were Achak and Shale. "Hi," Mira finally greeted, as she joined the group that had gathered. "Name's Mira. It's nice to meet all of you."@ketaki @achak Shale

Shale stood back and let Achak take care of introducing the pair of them to the two females. He was still unnerved by the older one’s lack of pupils, but the other one seemed nice enough. She smirked a little as she looked them over, and Shale felt his nervousness heighten. What’s that expression supposed to mean? Is something wrong with me and Achak? Why does she look so...contemptuous? But the female said nothing- not even her name, which made things even more awkward- nodding as Achak asked if she too was seeking entrance into Ferus. “Do you know much about this pack, then?” she asked. Hmm. It seemed she didn’t quite know what she was getting into. Shale glanced at Achak. It seemed, out of the two of them, Shale was the one who knew the most about the packs. He wanted to stay quiet and leave the question for Achak to answer, but then again... He couldn’t stay hidden behind Achak forever. If he was going to have any chance at all of making it into this pack, he had to be able to stand on his own feet. He had to find his courage as best he could. He drew in a deep breath and stepped out from behind Achak, glancing up at the female and then quickly back down. She’s just another wolf. Just another rogue like me. Nothing to get anxious over. Get it together or you’ll have no chance at all. Another wolf made her way over to the group, a dark-colored female who introduced herself quite pleasantly as Mira. Shale liked her immediately; she seemed sweet and gentle, more like him than the first two females were. He glanced in her direction and gave her a little smile before he turned his attention back to the first female, the one who had asked what he and Achak knew about Ferus. “Not much,” he said, making his best effort to keep his voice steady. “But I know a little. They’re a small group. From what I’ve heard they’ve had some trouble recently. Taken some losses, but I don’t know the circumstances, who was responsible. But they’re tough. Hardened is a good word. If you’re one of them, you have to be strong. They won’t take just anyone; they have things they’re looking for. Standards.” Which I can only hope I measure up to, he added silently. He was doing what he could to force himself out of his comfort zone, to be someone Ferus would want, but it was hard to go against his softer, quieter nature. He was doing his best; with any luck, once the alphas came, it would be enough. @achak @ketaki Yrene Mira

Achak glanced at Shale softly as the other rogue questioned them. Achak turned to see Shale, he met Shale's eyes curiously tilting his head softly. He watched patiently as another wolf trotted up to them "Name's Mira. It's nice to meet all of you" He nodded to her softly. Achak turned his attention back to the rest of the group, would answer as much as he could. He went to open his mouth but Shale quickly spoke up. He smiled softly seeing Shale step out of his shell slightly, he also made sure to listen to Shale turning over the information in his mind, he sat next to Shale hoping to comfort him as he spoke. "Good going buddy" Achak whispered to Shale as he finished speaking. He looked around at their now small circle of rogues all with their own lives and experiences but they seemed to have the same goal, to become a pack. Achak's excitement grew his tail thudding the ground softly, he hoped they could all grow close, he wished so badly to be apart of a pack again.

As Spiras padded towards the Ferus borders, he made note of the lush green surrounding him. He had expected a different landscape, but the bountiful prey and water caused him to hold no complaints. A sudden movement caught the corner of his eye, and he froze in his tracks, pausing to take in the scents that surrounded him. His ears perked up when he caught site of a squirrel standing a few feet before him, and he knew that the smallest movement would cause it to flee. With that knowledge, he didn't waste his first move by crouching to the ground, knowing the motion could rustle the soft grass; instead, he bounded forward, quickly gaining ground on his prey. As the squirrel approached a tree, he jumped up in a massive leap, his paws landing on the soft body which had attempted to escape to the branches. As he was dealing the killing blow to his meal, his ears perked up at the sound of a shrill howl. His ear flicked in annoyance at the high-pitched sound, and he looked up when more howls sounded. One was shaky and pathetic, and the third more promising than the others. As he sat down to savor his meal, his thoughts remained on the pack he was headed for. Though the first was like a pup, he could tell it was coming from an adult, one with a purpose. The second was what cause him disappointment. If such a weak wolf would be allowed into the pack that he had heard was strong and proud, he might have to rethink joining himself. As Spiras thought more, he realized that the best path would be to claim superiority over the individual, and hopefully turn him into the Omega he was meant to be. As soon as he was finished with his meal, he licked his jowls clean and rose to his paws, setting forth for the pack ahead. He sped through the last half mile of his journey, and slowed to a halt when the scent of others came to him. He started forward once more until he was standing about ten feet before the the group, eyeing each one. When he caught a glimpse of pupil-less green eyes, though he found it unnerving, he kept his proud stature; tail raised above his head, ears perked, and a stance that was proud and meant to show dominance. He towered over the wolves before him, a sight that lent him confidence that he didn't need. Knowing he would interrupt their conversation, and not caring, he threw back his head to let his own deep howl. He hinted at his impatience in his voice, communicating not only that he wanted to meet the Alpha immediately, but also that he demanded respect from those before him. He lowered his head to face the group, his chin still slightly raised, and let out a deep growl, challenging anyone to go against him, asserting his dominance before the Alpha arrived. “Not much.” Mira leaned in, pricking her ears as she listened keenly to what he had to say. Standards.” Right you are! The mighty pack that Mira had always been aiming for. The last word, ‘standards’ however was Mira’s greatest concern. Would she be the strong wolf Ferus was looking for? She sucked in a deep breath to calm her nerves. Mira pushed herself up a little taller, hoping to appear confident but not to assert dominance over the others. “Good luck everyone!” she wished earnestly, flicking her tail to the side. She needed to make a good impression of herself in front of the Alpha, and so did the others. It seemed that another rogue had grown impatient of the long wait, letting out a resounding howl. Upon turning around, Mira noticed the newcomer, a handsome, light grey brute towering above all of them. He was a walking muscle. Perhaps with just a swish of his tail, he could easily throw Mira’s small frame to the ground. The smell of blood and pine trees hung onto his thick pelt. She noted the arrogant lift of his tail, which was so high that the tail itself was taller than Mira. Nothing about him was welcoming or friendly at all. When his cold gaze swept over all five of them, Mira could feel a slight chill running down her spine. There was this “dominant” air around him, even though he was pretty much the same as the rest of them. And that was what got on Mira’s nerves. Bitterly, she glared back at him, seething silently. What makes him better than any of us? When a low, intimidating growl escaped from his maw, that did it for Mira. “Oh, just drop it, won’t you!?” she snarled through her bared teeth, glowering furiously. Mira didn’t care if he could easily snap her head off. His attitude was just unbearable. Shale @achak Spiras Yrene @ketaki

A little much cussing x-x Sorry just yeeted him over here
The air was crisp and warm, a spring sun just about blinding him as he trudged along the borders warily. In some parts, still, plants never recovered from the harsh winter, and lay there crippled and ugly, dead. Diablo clicked his teeth at the thought. This was right where he needed to be. He had been streaming along the borders for at least 30 minutes now, merely trying to decide if he really wanted to test his luck on pack lands. The giant was cautious, bone chilling memories of his family flashing through his mind as quickly as he shoved them away. Was he really about to trust some strangers and live monster them, potentially? And before the good stuff, Diablo had to be judged for his worth before acceptance. He snarled at the thought, his tail furiously whipping behind him. If he dare meet a wolf that treated him like his family. " I swear to god," he growled to himself, eyes narrowing. As his troubled thoughts went on, a bright howl echoed into the atmosphere, turning his attention further up the borders. He couldn't depict the wolves yet, but he could smell more than one. Were they pack wolves? His heart leaped, but he immediately calmed himself down as he thought to his mate. Lucy couldn't teach him much about packs, but he wasn't stupid enough to confuse a rogues scent for a pack wolf. Admittedly, he felt nervous, only because he couldn't imagine what shit he'd find himself in if a pack wolf pissed him off. He had to force himself to compose his anger, for now at least, just until he got an answer. Diablo decided with a sigh that his best bet was to gather where all the rest of the rogues were piled, and they certainly couldn't be standing there like sitting ducks without a purpose. The brute kept his distance as he was able to identify each of them, glaring at them. Was this really the best idea, tossing himself to rot in a pack and interact with strangers? He was never the talkative type. Not for years. Diablo counted three females and three males. Naturally, he couldn't help but feel threatened by them all. Who were they, and what were they like? Had they killed wolves too? Were they abused. He shook his head, tossing a short howl into the mix of the others. There. Now there was no turning back. Almost of the rogues were smaller than him, and a few younger. One, though, had Diablo on edge for a good reason. He was just about identical to him physically, and he was a cocky son-of-a-bitch. The brute stood proudly within the group of rogues, trying to assert his dominance. Immediately, Diablo was at his paws trotting toward the group. There he went again, not thinking and going back to his old ways. The colossal male brushed past this nuisance, circling him to meet him at eye level, teeth lightly bared in disgust. " Why don't you cut the shit and save it," Diablo looked the male up and down. " You don't look like the alpha to me." the brute growled, taking a step back. He would keep alert if the wolf were to attack, as he was very experienced in fighting and knew how to react quickly. Otherwise, Diablo had lost all focus on the others.

Spiras narrowed his eyes at the tiny brown female, annoyance quickly turning into rage. Before he could react to her bratty remark, a brute matching his size and build approached him, coming from behind to stand before Spiras with an angry expression painted on his muzzle. "Just cut the shit and save it. You don't look like the alpha to me." The creamy male's comment caused Spiras's fury to bubble to the surface, and it took everything he had to restrain his attack. He only let out an enraged, rumbling growl. He coldly looked the giant over and concluded that he was worth fighting, but made no move to initiate. Instead, Spiras glared into the wolf's eyes, doing his best to intimidate the giant with his piercing violet gaze. He spoke, his voice deep and confident. "Name yourself," he commanded. "I am called Spiras." Though his eyes communicated everything, he still dared the wolf to go against him with his words, as well. "If you wish to challenge me, I will gladly take you as my opponent. However, I am against the idea of engaging in battle and sustaining wounds before the alpha arrives." He knew that with this remark, he was admitting that he indeed was not in charge. Still, it didn't bother him, as he was already well aware. Spiras's goal was solely to assert his dominance among his future packmates. This wolf, however, seemed promising enough to be his equal; and his response would determine the truth of that. OOC: Sorry if I've actually offended anyone. Travels were interesting. Her previous home was nothing like the world she had encountered beyond it. The rogues that she had encountered along the way had been a plethora of different personalities. Some were far too friendly, some rude, some just as sassy as her. But it was chaotic. Trying to make any sort of plan to hunt any big game was nearly impossible, so surviving off of rats and squirrels became Harley's normal. But now she hungered for some big game, and some decent order in her life. If she could hold her tongue for a few seconds at the borders, then maybe she would get in. Apparently, Ferus was today's hotspot. Five, maybe six wolves? Not even that! Seven forms stood along the borders, but the scents of individual rogues were obvious. None of these were pack wolves, they weren't very useful to her right now. But one of them caught her eye instantly. Tail raised, ears shoved forwards, he was exactly like the wolf she had battled before. All that cockiness, thinking he could try and become the boss of a gather of rogues, this time outside a pack no less! The gall to think that he had some sort of power on this ground where they were all equal. Squinting her baby blue eyes, Harley approached closer to the large group. Making her presence known with a quick, high-pitched howl, she trotted through the grass to come within earshot of the rogues. "Just cut the shit and save it. You don't look like the alpha to me," one of them, another giant, stole the words right out of her mouth. At last, someone who could understand her dislike of such an attitude! Or maybe that was just something everyone had? After all, the male was the second one to say something to the large male, Harley just couldn't hear the first girl's words. The petite she-wolf walked closely behind the arrogant one, her tail 'accidentally' hitting his leg on her way to interact with the more reasonable wolves at the borders. "You took the words right out of my mouth! Anyone with a little bit of common sense would know that if anyone could beat you up here, it's me!" with a cheeky grin beaming up to the two wolves who were her polar opposites, Harley plopped her rump into the grass. Her eyes were more focused on the male that introduced himself as Spiras. She was no fool. Finding two wolves brawling on the borders was never something that any wolf would want to find. Not to mention that it would get her turned away from yet another pack. She almost barked out a laugh as she recalled to just seconds prior when he had demanded a name. The tiny mexican wolf could only hope that whoever came to meet them at the borders could deliver a verbal beat down worthy of passing down to future generations. Turning her gaze towards inner Ferus territory, Harley shifted with nerves and anticipation for whoever came to the borders to greet this horde. @diablo Spiras Mira Yrene @ketaki @achak Shale Alpha Jay

The information that the pair of newcomers had given was taken gratefully by the youngling, though it was surprising to watch the timid male being the one to speak up between them. It was a shame to hear about the losses that the pack had suffered, but it was much-needed good news to know that they were a tough and orderly pack. Yrene wasn't looking to waste her time among wolves who valued things such as sunny days and friendly conversation. She was looking for a place where she would be of use, where she could train, where she could better herself and become stronger for her own sake as well as for the sake of the wolves that she would call her pack mates. Yrene sought to be better, and she felt that this pack would be a brilliant place to do so. It had been so lovely with just the four of them standing amongst the gently swaying green grasses. The young she-wolf couldn't have expected things to become so crowded—and so violent. First, another lovely little she-wolf made her way onto the scene. She was another wolf more inclined to present a timid appearance much like one of the males, but she was not the last to approach, and definitely not the worst. Next came possibly the cockiest bastard Yrene had ever had the displeasure of setting her shifting eyes upon. He was large, and somehow thought that this factor alone landed him at the top of the pecking order. But there was no pecking order here. They were all rogues, all equals, all fighting for themselves. Yet this male, with a snarl plastered over his face, had thought it would be a brilliant idea to assert himself over the group. Yrene almost burst out laughing at the shallow idiot, but the bounding giggles caught itself in her throat as another equally large wolf approached, attempting to knock the other male down a few pegs. Yrene was bouncing her gaze back and forth between the pair as the tension suddenly shot through the roof and an air of completely seriousness came over the youngling. If these two decided to rip into each other, it would potentially mean that none of them would be accepted into Ferus today. A fight at their borders was completely inappropriate, and she wouldn't let these two idiots ruin her chances of a new start with their petty little pissing contest. Yrene drew herself up onto her paws to say something, but was cut off when yet another figure joined the scene, as well as the scuffle. A frown crossed her maw. The newcomer was trying to defuse some of the tension, but Yrene knew it would do nothing to stop the male named Spiras from trying to rip someone's throat out. "Quit it. All of you." She raised her voice, a gruff air overcoming her beautiful features. "If you want to rip into each other, fine, nobody is stopping you, but don't you dare spill blood on borders that don't belong to you. Take it somewhere else, or find some sense. We're not having you idiots ruin our chances with Ferus over something so stupidly inappropriate." It was disappointing that someone as young as herself was having to step up and attempt to knock some sense into these idiots. Any other time she would have been whipping out the popcorn and placing bets on who would draw the first drop of blood, but this was very clearly not the time for any of this. Hopefully if her words weren't enough to defuse the childish competition taking place, the Alpha would shortly arrive and do so themselves.
